Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga brings fun and freedom to your yoga practice, while spending time on the water.
Classes will be led by a trained SUP Yoga teacher.
Each class will begin with on-land instruction and safety overview, a short paddle to our floating studio, 55-60 minutes of yoga instruction, and a paddle back to shore.
All levels of yoga and paddleboard experience welcome! Modifications will be offered to meet the needs of the students.
What should I bring?
We provide all equipment needed to practice SUP Yoga. Due to the possibility of falling in the water, we encourage you not to bring anything of value on the water with you. We also recommend bringing a dry change of clothes and a towel, just in case.
What should I wear?
You are welcome to wear yoga clothes, a bathing suit, whatever you will be able to move comfortably in. Keep in mind that you may get wet, so it's great to wear something that will dry quickly. If you wear sunglasses, we recommend that you wear a strap to keep them on, should you fall in. You might also consider wearing a hat that floats, and sunscreen!
How long is a class?
Each class is 90 minutes, which includes about 10 minutes on-land instruction, 25 minutes of paddling, and 55-60 minutes of yoga. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class time to sign in and get your equipment.
